Why use the GPS tracking device?
GPS (Global Positioning System) is a network of satellites that communicate radio signals to handheld devices that help people get from point A to point B. At Slaneyside Kennel Solutions, our pet tracking devices have a built-in chip that sends signals to the receiver’s device in communicating the location of your missing pet. How does it work?
Our GPS tracking device consists of a 35 gram collar clip that you attach to your dog’s existing collar around their neck. When your dog goes missing, the lightweight collar clip will act as a transmitter in sending out a signal of its exact location through GPS to the receiver’s device. This is sent as an alert at no cost, directly to your phone, internet or other handheld device. Once you log on to the pet tracker system, the information given to the receiver is a detailed snapshot of your dog’s location via a live map. Directions on how to get to the location of your pet is also included.
How much does it cost?
Our Tractive GPS Pet Tracking device works using cellular networks. This means that the signals that are transmitted to the receiver’s handheld device are transmitted through cell phone towers. As we pay the data fees, we charge a low monthly service fee that allows you to monitor your dog 24/7.

Downloading the Tractive GPS app for your iPhone or Android device is completely free. The app gives you the comfort in knowing that you can locate your dog’s whereabouts if they ever go missing. Furthermore, you can add as many pets on to the GPS tracker as you want.
