The boundary wire can be installed by

• laying over the ground
• buried 2-3 inches down
• fed through a hose pipe
• tacked to an existing fence
• through a hedge etc.

If fitting your fence off the ground, please keep it approximately at the level of your pets neck from the ground and not much higher.

For connecting ends of wire together so as to make a complete wire loop, you may wish to also purchase a Loop Wire Connector Kit.

To enclose less than 1130m or approximately 20 acres
We recommend you use reels of 0.75 mm² gauge multi strand, single core, flexible PVC cable HO5VK BS2491X

To enclose over 1130m (max 1600m) or approximately 20 acres (max 40 acres)
We recommend you use reels of 1.5 or 2.5 mm² gauge multi strand, single core, flexible PVC cable HO7VK BS2491X, which can be purchased from any electrical wholesaler.
